Missed out on an animal? Looking for something specific? Join the waitlist :)
What is the benefit of being added to the waitlist?
Those added to the waitlist receive direct notification of when an animal they're interested in is posted, and will continue to until they respond that they would like to be removed. You dont need to redo it every time this way.
How does the waitlist work?
We need your name (whatever you'd like us to call you), which animals you're interested in, and your email address. Promise we won't send you anything other than the waitlist notification. We hate spam too. We wont do that to you.
When new animals are posted, every one who is on that animal's waitlist receive an email that contains a link to the animals individual page(s). They are also visible on the available page.

Do I get first pick if I'm the first to join the waitlist?
All waitlist emails go out simultaneously; It doesn’t prioritize by how long someone’s been waiting, and we don’t intend it to. Time on the list doesn’t predict future interest, so simultaneous notifications prevent serious customers from being delayed by earlier but no-longer-interested people. We use the industry standard “first to pay gets the animal,” approach as that keeps the process fair for everyone.
Can I make multiple entries at the same time? What can I do with the text box?
The text box is built to allow people to add themselves to multiple categories at one time, and that's all it can do..
It automatically scans for keywords (e.g., morphs, species) to add you to multiple categories at once, for your convenience. For example, if you type in blue eye, green, t-albino, and egg eater, you will receive notice if any of those, or combinations of those, become available, It only adds though- it can not subtract, so --the text box can not be used to make entries more specific. For example, entering "adult female files only" to the text box adds you to the category of "files" which includes adult females, but will also send you notice for males or juveniles.
If you select "Multiple: add below" in the dropdown but don't enter an animal or a morph into the text box, you will be added to category *any*, This is because it doesn't know which animal or morph you are looking for in order to place you, so "any" is the default to ensure you will be notified. Examples of the type of entry that would be automatically placed into *any* would be: "handleable babies*, "Pairs", "pure localities", *frozen thawed feeders only". Again, the text box is built to allow people to add themselves to multiple categories at a time, only. I would love to add a removal command, but currently my talents lie more in snakes than technology. :)
The text box can not be used to communicate directly with us. There is no human reading the text box entries. It's just a computer program. You're welcome to contact us directly of course :)
You can always reply to any notification email to be removed from a category.

P.s. The system will not send you a confirmation email that you have been added to the waitlist but rest assured, after you click submit, we have received your info. If you feel there is a different reason it was not received, please text 352-667-3331 and explain the circumstances so we may correct any glitches.
Please do not add yourself to the waitlist multiple times for the exact same animal. Doing so may cause you to not receive it. This is because when someone sends the same address, the same email, several times, at the exact same time, the provider may flag the email as malicious and refuse to deliver it. This also flags the sender as potentially malicious and could cause us to lose the ability to keep providing this service. So please, If you are unsure if you are already in the system, feel free to text and ask. We can look that up for you. You are welcome to make as many entries as you like for different animals or morphs, as different emails are sent for each.
You may need to add "[email protected]" and "[email protected]" to your safe senders lists to prevent communications from going to your junk mail folder.
If you did not receive the notice, it is likely because we haven't posted one yet or it was delivered to your junk/spam folder. Don't you hate it when that happens?! I sure do too!
Here's a link to a site that can teach you step by step exactly how to add us or anyone else to your safe senders list (also known as a whitelist) so that doesn't happen:
www.whitelist.guide/
great thing to know for any other emails you might not want to miss too.
Lastly, sorry the waitlist system is not equipped to send text messages, messages to social media platforms, or even emails to other addresses than the one entered. The system is automated and will not understand these requests, so while we hope to find a way to add these options in the future, email is the only option for now.
Anyway, If you have any questions, concerns, etc about utilizing this service, feel free to shoot us a text :)
