Missed out on an animal? Looking for something specific? Join the waitlist :)

What is the benefit of being added to the waitlist?

Those added to the waitlist receive direct notification of when an animal that meets their criteria is posted, and a 24 hour head start on the public.

How does the waitlist work?

We need your name (doesn't need to be your full name), which animals you're interested in, and your email address. Promise we won't send you anything other than the waitlist notification.

When new animals are posted, every one who is on that animal's waitlist receive an email that contains a private link to the animals individual page(s). Only persons with that link can view that page for the first day, before it becomes viewable to the rest of the public. This way those on the waitlist are notified and have the first opportunity to purchase before the public.

Do I get first pick if I'm the first to join the waitlist?

All waitlist emails are sent at the same time. We do not currently have a method to prioritize those waiting longer from those who have not been, and do not intend to develop one. We don't do it that way because we have no way of knowing which people are very serious and would remain so at some unknown time frame in the future when available, from those who are maybe no longer interested by the time that animal is being offered.

This method prevents those who are very serious from having to wait on the notification and decisions of those who maybe aren't so serious anymore but just happened to get on the waitlist earlier. We also employ the industry standard "first to pay gets the animal" policy for all offerings, and doing the waitlist this way does not conflict with that. So that's why it's built this way. We want to keep it fair for everyone.

Can I make multiple entries at the same time? What can I do with the text box?

The notes text box is automated to search for keywords (like various morphs etc) in order to add entries into categories. This is so it can be used to make multiple entries instead of doing them individually, for your convenience. You can use it to request being added to other lamprophids we work in, or morphs that we dont currently have a category for in the form.

It can only be used to *add* though. It does not subtract. For example, If you put in the text box "files that are adult female only" you will receive notifications for the category of file, which will include "female",  and "adult", but you will still receive emails for "files" including males and juveniles. It can not remove any entry to make it more specific, it can only add to it. We are hoping to create a subtract command for it in the future but for now, It doesn't work that way.  Unfortunately my talents lie in snakes, but less so in technology. Sorry. If you are getting too many emails or the system added you to a category you do not wish to be added to, you can always reply to the notification email to have your email removed from it.

It also can not be used to communicate directly with us. You're welcome to contact us
 directly of course :)

Ready to Join? Fill out the form below and click submit. That's all there is to it :)

What should I call you? Doesn't need to be formal or even your full name.
Drop down is mostly alphabetical, if what you are after is not listed in the options use the "See note" option at the bottom and write in what you're looking for.
Use this form only if you can not find your selection in the drop down
Submit
P.s. The system will not send you a confirmation email that you have been added to the waitlist but rest assured, after you click submit, we have received your info. If you feel there is a different reason it was not received, please text 352-667-3331 and explain the circumstances so we may correct any glitches.

Please do not add yourself to the waitlist multiple times for the same animal. Doing so may cause you to not receive it. This is because when someone sends the same address, the same email, several times, at the exact same time, the provider may flag the email as malicious and refuse to deliver it. This also flags the sender as potentially malicious and could cause us to lose the ability to keep providing this service. So please, If you are unsure if you are already in the system, feel free to text and ask. We can look that up for you. You are welcome to make as many entries as you like for different animals, as different emails are sent for each.

Also you may need to add "[email protected]" and "[email protected]" to your safe senders lists to prevent communications from going to your junk mail folder.

If you did not receive the notice, it is likely because we haven't posted one yet or it was delivered to your junk/spam folder. Don't you hate it when that happens?! I sure do too!

Here's a link to a site that can teach you step by step exactly how to add us or anyone else to your safe senders list (also known as a whitelist) so that doesn't happen:

www.whitelist.guide/

great thing to know for any other emails you might not want to miss too.

Lastly, sorry the waitlist system is not equipped to send text messages, messages to social media platforms, or even emails to other addresses than the one entered. The system is automated and will not understand these requests, so while we hope to find a way to add these options in the future, email is the only option for now.

Anyway, If you have any questions, concerns, etc about utilizing this service, feel free to shoot us a text :)

Thanks for looking!
